Architechniques performed programming, design and space planning,feasibility studies, and site evaluation studies, and is now progressing into schematic design and design development for this new building development. This project will house all of the county offices, 911, dispatch and emergency management services, the sheriff’s offices as well as provide space for two jury proceedings courtrooms, holding cells and offices for the state’s attorney and the circuit clerk. After review of five potential sites the county commissioners chose a site off of the square in downtown Vienna near the existing courthouse. This choice of this site for the development is meant to spur a renewal in businesses locating downtown.
