Mr. Orso was born and raised in Herrin and currently lives with his wife and two children in Herrin.  Mr. Orso attended Rend Lake Community College earning his Associates degree in Architectural Technology, and then Southern Illinois University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies.  Mr. Orso is licensed to practice Architecture in Illinois.  He joined Architechniques in 2005, and in 2015 became a partner in the firm.  In 2024 Mr. Orso was elected Vice President of Architechniques by the Board of Directors.

 

Mr. Orso has worked as Project Architect and Lead Technician of the firm’s Capital Development Board projects for the last eight years.  This includes projects that involved facility assessments and required LEED Certifications.  Mr. Orso has gained extensive experience in code review and facility Health-Life and Safety analysis.  Mr. Orso has also completed the Capital Development Board Certification for Project Managers.
